Illustration Friday - Flavour

Poppy seeds add an interesting flavour and texture to a plain white bloomer loaf. These poppies grow in my garden. The flowers can be up to a handspan across and make lovely big seedheads. They are prolific and seed all over the garden, so I never know where they are going to come up next. The colours range from lilac through pink to peach.

The photo enhanced in Paintshop Pro with a coloured pencil filter.

The same photo with a coloured pencil filter, then further enhanced with coloured edges with mid-range luminescence.

Love the transformation. It has an Art Nuveau feel to it. Great soft colours. Cheers!

your enhancements make a lovely illustration from the photo of your poppies. I envy you your prolific flowers! Everything I plant gets eaten by bugs and slugs.
