Illustration Friday - Blue

One sad bug, feeling blue in the night-time.

Bit of a cheat really. Last week's image with a Paintshop Pro wax coating filter.

Good thinking about recycling and nice job of it too. I also did a recycle for this week.

I really like this recycled little guy. Does he need a hug? He looks a little bewildered by the night in the dark blue forest you've created for him.

Thank you for the nice comments. I like to keep working over a design because I'm always thinking about stitching it.

Different moods with different colour. A little change can be very powerful. I rather like it. :)

Thanks for frequencing my blog and leaving me with really nice comments.

I think the use of the wax coating filter is just a case of, "the right tool for the job!" I love both images. You started with something good and that is always where good branches develop.

Very beautiful blue tones - that's a great filter. Nice work!

I do that to my work too. I take one collage and then alter the color and it looks completely different. This little guy is so cute, I see why you wanted to keep him around.

i just saw what you did for blue and small. i like both. i'm glad you used the same image for 2 different subjects, whith some tweeking of course. that shows how resourceful you can be especially since both versions came out so well.

I like your blue image. I think it's great when you can 'recycle' art and just by chaning something as simple as the color, it gives it a whole new perspective.
